Auto Test is the most advanced lead-acid battery tester which uses a unique Pulse-Impedance technology.

Auto Test is the most advanced lead-acid battery tested which also a unique Pulse-Impedance technology. Auto Test enables the user to test the Amp-hour rate, cold cranking Ampls and internal resistance.

AUTOTEST ELECTRONICS ANALYZER IN DETAIL
Autotest has three modes of operation: Managed Mode, Measurement Mode and Menu mode

Managed Mode
Managed Mode is a microprocessor managed diagnostic sequence that evaluates battery condition, alternator/regulator output, integrity of battery clamps to battery post connections, and the level of "key off" drain.

The technology utilized by Autotest was developed to accommodate varying states of battery charge, and in particular the very low states of charge typically encountered by roadside service providers, the battery analysis sequence operates from 30 seconds to 4 minutes depending on battery's state of charge.

At the conclusion of a diagnostic sequence Autotest displays the results for battery, alternator/regulator and "key off" drain. The data in support of the results is also available if required and can be printed out. A coded summary for subsequent data transfer and analysis if required.

Measurement Mode
Measurement Mode provides for auto-ranging DC multimeter functions (volts, amps, ohms). AC measurements reported separately as RMS volts, peak to peak volts, positive duty cycle in % for the square wave, mS 'on time' and frequency of the AC waveform for ECU diagnostics, starter check and battery analysis. Battery condition is reported to the operator as Pass/Marginal/Fall with the test data expressed as the final loaded voltage equivalent to a standard BCI (Battery Council International) load test.

Menu Mode
Autotest has a Menu Mode to enable data printing and downloads, data storage and selection of battery rating standard (SAE, DIN, IEC, EN)
